Camera-Ready Package Deadline
Full paper registration (at least one Full Registration per paper) is due by September 6, 2026. Your reply letter, camera-ready paper with source files, signed Licence to Publish, and proof of payment must be received by September 13, 2026. Late or incomplete packages cannot be included in the proceedings.
Congratulations on Your Acceptance
Your paper will appear in the KSS 2026 proceedings, published by Springer as a volume of the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.
Acceptance is conditional on receiving a complete camera-ready package. Please prepare the four items below and follow the step-by-step guide that follows.
Proof of Full Registration
Register by September 6, 2026 and include the payment receipt showing at least one Full Registration covering the paper.
Response to Reviewers
A reply letter explaining how each review comment has been addressed in the revised paper.
Camera-Ready Paper & Sources
The final PDF plus all source files (LaTeX sources or Word file), formatted to the Springer template.
Signed Licence to Publish
The KSS 2026 Springer Nature form, signed by hand by the corresponding author.
Step-by-Step Guide
Register by September 6 and Keep Your Proof of Payment
- Each paper in the proceedings must be covered by at least one Full Registration, which includes Springer's publication processing charge. Registration must be completed by September 6, 2026 — before the camera-ready deadline — so that the final list of papers can be confirmed and the proceedings delivered to Springer on schedule. Please register as soon as you receive your acceptance notification.
- There is no student rate for publishing a paper. If a paper is co-authored by a student and a professor, the student may register at the Student rate only if the professor (or another co-author) registers at the Full rate. If the student is the only author registering, they must choose Full Registration.
- One Full Registration covers one paper. Each additional accepted paper requires a separate Full Registration.
- Register via the KSS 2026 registration portal and keep a copy of your payment confirmation (receipt or transaction record) to include in your package. Fees and inclusions are listed on the Registration page.
Revise Your Paper and Reply to the Reviewers
- Carefully address all review comments in your revised paper.
- Prepare a reply letter that lists each comment and explains how the paper was modified in response (or gives a clear justification where no change was made). If you have already submitted a reply letter, you do not need to resubmit it.
- Authors are responsible for the quality of the English. If English is not your first language, please have the text checked carefully. Machine translation alone does not produce professional academic writing.
Language check: a language check will be conducted on the camera-ready version. Papers whose writing quality remains poor will not be included in the proceedings.
Format the Camera-Ready Paper
- Your paper must strictly adhere to the Springer LNCS/CCIS template (LaTeX or Microsoft Word). Templates are available from Springer's conference proceedings guidelines page or directly in Overleaf. Word users must save as .docx (no macros / .docm).
- Keep within the page limit of your accepted paper category (including references):

- Remove anonymisation. Add the full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors, together with acknowledgements and funding information. Clearly mark one corresponding author — this must be the person who signs the Licence to Publish. Including ORCID iDs next to author names is strongly encouraged.
- Add a Disclosure of Interests statement after the acknowledgements (e.g. “The authors have no competing interests to declare that are relevant to the content of this article.”), as required by Springer.
- Make sure all figures are legible (vector graphics where possible), and that tables and equations are editable rather than pasted as images. Do not add page numbers or running heads — Springer inserts these.
- Prepare the final PDF and a ZIP of all source files (LaTeX: .tex, .bib/.bbl, style files, figures; Word: the .docx file). The PDF must correspond exactly to the sources.
Similarity check: every camera-ready paper is screened with iThenticate, as recommended by Springer. Papers with a similarity score above 40% will not be included in the proceedings.
Authorship is final: once files are delivered to Springer, author names, their order, affiliations, and the corresponding author cannot be changed. Please check them carefully before submitting.
Sign the Licence to Publish
- Download the KSS 2026 Licence to Publish form (Springer Nature Singapore) from the Downloads section below. Please use only this form. Do not download a form from the Springer website — forms other than the one provided here will be discarded and you will be asked to resubmit.
- Complete the paper title, the full names of all authors, and the corresponding author's name.
- Only the corresponding author signs, on behalf of all co-authors. Sign in the field labelled “Signed for and on behalf of the Author” — not in the “Print Name” field.
- Springer requires a handwritten signature: please print, sign, and scan the form (or sign on a tablet with a stylus). Typed or purely digital signatures are not accepted. Submit the signed form as a PDF.
Submit Your Package via CMT
- Upload the complete package to the KSS 2026 site on Microsoft CMT by September 13, 2026: (1) proof of registration payment, (2) reply letter, (3) camera-ready PDF and source ZIP, and (4) signed Licence to Publish.
- Please quote your Paper ID in all correspondence with the organising committee about publication or registration.

Important Notices
- A paper is included in the proceedings only if at least one Full Registration is completed by September 6, 2026 and the complete camera-ready package — proof of payment, reply letter, camera-ready paper with sources, and signed Licence to Publish — is received by September 13, 2026. Late or incomplete packages cannot be accommodated, as the proceedings must be delivered to Springer on schedule.
- Papers that fail the language check or exceed the 40% iThenticate similarity threshold will not be published, even if all other items have been submitted.
- After the files are sent to Springer, no changes to the title, authorship, affiliations, or content are possible. The corresponding author will receive proofs from Springer for checking typesetting errors only.
